Dairy Free Yogurt Melts for Baby

Do you know how many easy baby and toddler foods are centered around dairy!? A LOT! When you start looking at snack ideas, there is so much dairy! It can be hard to find dairy free snacks for babies and toddlers!

We like to give our son whole foods, like cooked fruits and veggies, and home cooked meals as much as possible. But real life…sometimes you just need something quick and easy when they start getting fussy.

These were definitely a hit with my little one! And they were SO easy. I will certainly keep my freezer stocked with these simple dairy free yogurt melts!

These make the perfect snack in between meals. Or a little something to satisfy your little one while you are getting dinner ready…and they want something to eat NOW!! And of course any cold treat feels good to those teething gums.

Here’s how easy it is to make your own dairy free yogurt melts:

Our local grocery store only had this dairy free coconut milk yogurt alternative by SO Delicious in the raspberry flavor. (It was super yummy!)

I started by lining a small baking sheet with parchment paper to make it easy to lift the dots later. (Wax paper would work too)

I then used a children’s medicine syringe to draw up the yogurt and pipe it out into little dots.

Next, I popped the baking sheet into the freezer and they were ready in just a few hours.

The frozen yogurt melts lifted easily from the parchment paper. I stored them in a freezer ziplock bag. (And folded the parchment paper into the bag to be used again).

Making these dairy free yogurt melts was ridiculously easy. You HAVE to try it! You and your little one will be so happy you did!!
