My 9 Month Old’s Favorite Play Toys
My little one is 9 months old and a very busy little boy. He is moving and grooving and all about exploring his environment. In regards to child development, this is typically a time of exploration of space and body. Babies get their first taste of independence as they are mobile and more able to make choices of what toys they are interested in playing with. I like to keep a basket of toys accessible for our little one to make that choice. It ends up making a crazy mess (even though we only offer a small amount of toys) but its great for his development and play skills. It…

Vegan Bread Recipe for Bread Machine
We love homemade bread in our house! Its amazingly soft with a light crisp crust…better than anything you can buy in the store. This bread makes the best grilled sandwiches and killer PB&J’s. I especially love that it uses simple ingredients and is super easy. And the ingredients are non-dairy, making this a super easy vegan bread recipe to throw in the bread machine. I am particularly fond of our bread machine! It is one of my favorite kitchen tools and I don’t know how I’ve lived without one all these years! I love this bread machine because it mixes the dough, lets it rise and cooks it all in…

Printable Cloth Diaper Liner Pattern
I knew I wanted to cloth diaper before I had kids, before I even met my husband. I love all things cloth diapering. And I can talk for days about cloth diapering. I love that it saves us so much money and is great for the environment. Think of all those disposable diapers we are keeping out of the landfill! I also love that its “old school” in a way, classic, the way things used to be…well sort of. Cloth diapering has evolved so much over the years and is pretty easy these days. They make some cloth diapers that greatly resemble disposables. They make some with snaps and really…

DIY Vinegar & Dawn Cleaner
This homemade cleaner is a total win in our book. Its easy to make with ingredients you probably already have around the house, more cost efficient than store-bought cleaners, non-toxic and best of all…it cleans better than any other cleaner I’ve tried!! We have well water, which is hard water and full of minerals. We also don’t have a water softener or filter system (other than a sediment filter) which makes it more challenging to keep tubs, toilets, sinks clean. Minerals build up quickly and soap scum is a booger (especially if you use something like this easy DIY salt scrub). But this cleaner makes my tub shinier than any store-bought…

Simple DIY Salt Scrub
I’d like to share a simple DIY salt scrub that uses only TWO ingredients. This is my favorite part of the shower and leaves my skin feeling so silky smooth and moisturized. I don’t even have to use lotion after this! It is so simple, you won’t regret taking a few minutes to whip up this spa-like treat for yourself. This site contains affiliate links to products.
